Oct. 10 episode

Thought this was a great kick-off for the season. So much more energy and chemistry than we saw in last year's "City Hall" spinoff. I really like Ian Tracey in this role. Already he's pulled so much complexity into this character, and his scenes with Klea Scott as Mary were spellbinding. So glad to see him in a featured role! (Even "Leary's Inquest" would've been so much more interesting than what we got last season.)

Lord, is Suki . . . oops, gotta stop calling her that! Francine ever a mess! Kinda hate to see Camille Sullivan in hysterical mode, but she works it. And Max Headroom . . . er, wrong character again. Ted is fuel for a firestorm. His setup was a little clunky in the film, but I can see oh so many possibilities for him now. Already this series has the pacing and flow that "City Hall" missed. Can't wait till next week!

Oh, yeah. It was a great start. I hope Haddock can keep it up. :D

Boy, that Francine is a complete head-trip, isn't she? Sullivan is sure having fun, though. I liked that they had Jimmy seem so nonplussed with her. If he were always cool and on top of things, it wouldn't be half as much fun.

I still don't much care for Ted, but the way he tried to suck up to the guy Mary's trying to replace was fun--even if totally expected.

I was actually startled and disappointed when the show ended. I guess I was expecting two hours as with the pilot, even though I knew better.
