According to a Chris Haddock interview back in December, signs were good for a second season. I don't know yet if that has changed.

They have green-lit season two and will begin filming it in a couple months. :)

There actually is no official word yet from CBC about the show. Officially, it's still on the bubble:

From what I've heard, it will probably get a second season, but they haven't confirmed it. Until they do, it could go either way.

God only knows (and the Mothercorps). They still haven't made an official announcement yet, but a new season does now look set to happen.
