Another ending could have been

I just watched this movie today. It reminded me of the fun times I had in my college fraternity.

I thought that the movie could have taken a different direction. Which would give it a good theme about brotherhood and pledging. would it work?

towards the end, there is scene with the three hs kids getting into an argument and makes up afterwards. The next scene should have been the fratnerity guys led by Teague, knighting and cheering for the three hs kids as honorary brothers. Especially as a job well done for the packed and difficult weekend of pledging. closing wit the fratnerity guys showing there brotherhood side and welcoming the new honorary bros.
