Original concept to a classic played out genre.

It still amazing to see how people in life take something as a film so seriously.
Like anything in life, doesn't matter how many times u experience something you like, there is always going to be a day when it turns out sh*t.
For me watching the collector I happened to watch it on a rotten day and thought if it was rubbish/aweful then what dose matter?
Well suprinsingly i was pleasantly suprised by the movie.
I cant personally think of a original-ish plot a guy clearly tryin to get life back on track from a time of crime (even though not clearly played out you can read between the lines) and is clearly desperate to get money and so the plot unravels. The touch here is a killer who clearly has a obsessive power tripping hunter split personality etc. Equally has his eye on a member from this family, again the strongest survives. (saw principle) now not only have we established the fact the strongest in that moment is the little girl and the killer is clearly hunting her down arkin our hero has entered the fray and is leavin his mark around the house with blood on door handles and such makin it quite clear for the killer to know someone else is clearly there and so more traps are laid out in order to catch them.

Ok as continuity and a eye for detail goes for a small moderate budget this film is what ya goin to expect. A killer dosent need a motive a desperate thief is an oppatunist and a children can bloody hide well if have to.
Plus really what horror movie is entirely a perfect or realistic account of a killer or ghost or demon vampire etc specially when
its a slasher esq style movie.
Only a killer themselfs could really only respond to this kida of behaviour.

All that said i enjoyed especially the change of direction a criminal with morals (he is human.) And turns out to be a hero ok to be captured but makes sense due to fact he was the strongest victim left. And of course i hoped for a sequal which delivered ok not so much on origianilty but in sense of entertainment a kinda revenge flick. And as a whole if intensional or not its cleary been written out with a more longer plot and revealment I just hope if a third which i believe is the making of me writting this will hopefully wrap up things nicely and answer those odd queations and not turn out to be something of a rushed project. Again I think we as a
audience who throw a little critism
towards any movie has many reasons some its simple as marmite you either love it or hate it... but aint it funny that our opinions change overtime maybe we just become more patient and realise that dose having a opinion really matter ill let you be judge of that one.
