Question about Sam spoilers

From what I have seen so far -- I'm on episode 8 of season 1 -- aside from his horrible personality, he is implied in the killings of Maudette, Dawn, and Sookie's grandmother. Knowing this, I expected him to be only a season one character. However, I came on the IMDb page here and his name and picture are one of the first on the list of cast. I didn't look at how long his run was, though I'm hoping it wasn't for the whole show. I don't want the whole show spoiled, and I'm all for death in shows with the right characters, but I hate him for it because of this act he puts up, and he should be dead or in jail after season one. Please please tell me he goes to jail. Please tell me the town or at the VERY least Sookie find out what he did.

He keeps acting off and on like he cares about her and keeps lying nonstop. I think he actually believes he does care about her, even though any sane person when they killed someone's grandma might admit they're in it for themselves. To me, there are very very few characters to me that I can stand this in short of psychopaths and sociopaths. Especially when it's all because of a new racism and none of the victims or Sookie did anything bad. I would have added this to my first post, but I'm on my phone and it doesn't give me an option to edit.

I will; I just can't handle the wait and continued character interaction with Sam. Mark of a good show though, right?

Lol. Yeah, it is. Season 1 was one of my favorite seasons of True Blood. :)

OMG OP YOU REALLY need to keep watching - I don't want to give away spoilers but "anything goes on True Blood and things aren't always what they appear to be".....KEEP WATCHING PLEASE
