Anyone else hate Sookie?
She is really annoying, cries all the time and everyone loves her. I would have loved to see her get brutally butchered!

I never hated her, but by the end of the series, I had lost all of my respect for her. Her obsession with Bill Compton made her character look so weak.
shareYeah, same. I don't understand why everyone ilke Sookie. Vampires, because of her blood maybe, but what about Alcide and the others? I think she is really annoying and disturbing. I really want to kill her while im watching this show. I think there should be an episode about Sookie's painful death. It can be like 3 minutes. Even thinking is make me relax.
shareShe's a 'Mary Sue'. Google it, it'll explain a lot. TV and movie industry is filled with them.
shareShe got annoying as the series progressed. She went from being innocent and somewhat pensive to impulsive and thoughtless.

I was just angry when she referred to herself as a whore. That is when I lost respect for her.
shareBelieve the term was "danger whore" and was first used by LaLa. He was referring to how Sookie rushed headlong into danger, hung out with vampire and other dangerous supes ending up getting her friends killed or putting their lives at risk.this was part of a dropped storyline in which Lala's demon developed s hatred of Sookie and even tries to kill her. Sookie has always felt to blame for everything bad that happened in BT. So,when one of her best friends starts making these allegations, she begins to believe them. It was all part of Buckner's " Sookie goes to a dark place" in Season 6. It only succeeded to marginalizing her further and getting fans to lose all respect for her. Many ended up hating her.
shareHi Maggie. I didn't hate her just had a lost of respect when she told Warlow, "I might be a whore, but I ain't stupid." Yes, I get that she was referring to a "danger whore" but the lines are a bit blurred when she's basically sleeping with danger. Is she attracted to danger or is she attracted to dangerous guys? How do we separate the two in reference to her history or choices? This was a tough one for me.
shareThe whole " danger whore" idea as applied to Sookie never made any sense.Buckner came up with it in an attempt to explain away Sookie's fascination with Warlow when she flip flopped from trying to kill him to junping into bed with him. The idea of Sookie as a " danger whore " was propagated by Lala and then by Tara not because it was based on anything but because Buckner wanted to use the idea. At the start of S6 Sookie sent Eric away and withdrawing her invitation for him to be in her home because she just wanted to live a " normal life" and not be involved with the dangerous situations that surrounded vampires. Then she promptly get involved with Warlow. To explain it, Buckner came up with the " danger whore". This idea was dropped when she took up with Alcise and then back to Bill again. There were a whole lot of ideas Bucnker's just tossed out there like that which were baseless, illogical nonsense that he used to string together a plot and character motivations that were used as he needed them and then dropped as if they never existed.

Yes! I CAN'T STAND HER or the ugly actress they had portray her! Her only good quality is her fit body, otherwise she is butter face and the character is a dumb whore who sleeps with everyone...I hate her to ( not the actress I don't hate her...though I find her to be the ugliest woman on the show-off how they decided to cast her is beyond me)
shareShe had 5 partners you moron. What a shallow sexist creep you are.
