alcohol pads on ammo?
Question I have is why use alcohol pads on ammo? Why not simply when you buy ammo don't open the box and load your weapons until your wearing gloves?

shareBuying the ammo from a store requires ID checks in MA, they were bought off the street. Regardless, the crew in the film, which was based in reality, they used every precaution possible. Eventually Heroin ruined them but they made millions. Read up on them, its amazing with what they did.

They may have been using Dust but Heroin is what did them in... 2 were heavy users, the others wanted no part of it. It made them sloppy and take unwanted risks. They killed a Cop in NH and that was it, once you cross that line, we all the rest
shareThanks for the heads up, kmags84. I think I recall reading an article about (that particular) crew of bank robbers from C-Town who hijacked a truck up to Hudson, NH, and robbed it. Don't know what drugs they were on, but they did kill one or two of the guards. People under the influence of Heroin do commit crimes (although Heroin, unlike Angel Dust) acts as a serious depressant to the human central nervous system and is horribly addicting, to boot.), such as stealing and robbing, or whatever, in order to get it, because Heroin is so prohibitively expensive.
shareThere's actually an episode on "Gangland" or "American Gangsters" (Not sure) that is solely about the major Charlestown Crew that was the source for the film... Heroin ruined them
