HOW could the baby...

I don't get this, the baby is 6 months old...Vanessa said the tub was empty, so how could he cut his head and almost drown in the tub?

reply

I don't even get that...I mean, would she really put the kid in the tub with the water running like that? Who puts a 6-month-old baby in a bathtub, anyway?

IDK...maybe it was to show her irresponsibility and her focus on the wrong things in her life...like her affair with Mr. Dreadlocks and her career in business.

Okay. In the movie, they said that the water wasn't running.
So, we assume that Vanessa just left the six month old baby in the water-less tub alone.
Babies grab things, play with things, etc.
So, maybe we can infer that the baby, intrigued, played with the faucet and the water went on..and it fell back, hit it's head and nearly drowned.

That's what I gather.

That's a good point.

first off I was suprised no one questioned fact that Nat (the boytoy) was also in bathroom ~ hiding ~ and did not see nor hear water running. Another thing realized that Vanessa supposedly took off prior to that scene to go out for her interview. Who was babysitting? From the way it started ... Ella wasn't going to. So someone must have unless she really is truly a bad mom and left the baby home alone.
