They can't really call it number 2, given the amount there have been before, thought the last one just being called The Pink Panther was wrong enough.
shareI never saw the real original, but I did see Steve's PINK PANTHER. And from what I've heard it wasn't a remake, so I would've prefered it not be titled as such. Even though this is supposed to be a new continuity, I'd still prefer a more unique title, and one that doesn't cause confusion.
