What happened to The Pink Panther between movie 1 and 2?
Why is it in the first one the Pink Panther belongs to Xania and in no 2 it belongs to some museum? Did she sell it or something?

I think for the sake of the storyline, this sequel ignored Xania and the original design of the diamond.
It was small and attached to a ring before, then suddenly it's the size of a pickle and not part of a ring?
