How did they get this cast together?

I know Steve Martin was in the first one, so that's an obvious one.

But what about Andy Garcia and Alfred Molina??? Garcia is known for being the ruthless Terry Benedict in the Ocean's series..and he's phenomenal in all of them. And Alfred Molina was in Spider-Man as Doc Oc, and also The Da Vinci Code. The girl who played Sonya has been in numerous Indian movies and the Japanese guy hasnt done too bad for himself either. But how did they all stoop down to this level?

Oh come on. Spiderman, Da Vinci Code, all the same crap. The real surprises are John Cleese and Jeremy Irons. They both have a great reputation, one a legendary comedia, the other a great actor ... and they end up together in this stupidity.

Irons was a shock. Rai and Martin are known for bad films at this point.

At first seeing Jeremy Irons was a shock. Then I remembered that he had been in Eragon and Appaloosa. So then realised it's not that big of a surprise.

What this film tried to do was get actors that would help fill the seats in the movie theater. That is why you saw all of the other actors in this film but John Cleese I thought was strange appearing in this one when the other actor who was in the first film should have reprised his role.

The movie was pretty good in my opinion but not as comical as the first one though.

I don't know hmmm.... you got to look at the first movie cast, to understand pink panther 2 didn't do so well at the box office. so they got these big name peoples & it still didn't do so well.

Well that is not good to hear because I went to see the first Pink Panther movie and loved it! Some people just do not know a good movie if it came up to them and bit them in the butt. LOL

oh no, i agree i'm talking about. pink panther 2 cast the first movie cast was better because it wasn't over crowed.

I know exactly what you mean about that. Plus, I prefer the original cast over the cast of the sequel.

i know right, it look like 'saved by the bell: the new class' if they make a part 3. somebody will be new in that one to.

Oh I am sure if they do make a third one it will have a new cast in the film. Plus, you never know one of the main characters who has been in the first two movies may decide that they do not want to be in the third one at all. I would hate for that to happen.

If not it might be direct to DVD if they have to replace one of the actors who played in the first two films. That would not be any good at all to see.

Such an impressive cast: Steve Martin! Lily Tomlin! Alfred Molina! Andy Garcia! Jean Reno! John Cleese! Jeremy Irons! Aishwarya Rai! (ok, her mostly for eye candy). I wish there was a better film/script for all of their talents!
