Finale summary - for those who missed it

Here ya' go. Everyone else, please fill in anything I missed. I did a quick summary.


WATCH OVER ME SERIES FINALE SUMMARY (I see your eyes readin' it, readin' it)

Michael has Julia by the throat at the top of the dam, threatening that he’ll kill her unless Jack gives him the vile of Medusa. Jack swallows it instead.

Jack quickly begins to feel the effects of Medusa and grows weak. Andre is able to beat up Jack, and then Michael orders Andre to take Jack back to the lab so they can extract Perseus from his veins. Jack is too weak to resist. Julia is thrown into the car with Jack.

They get back to the lab, and Dr. Baden is trying to escape with the files, but Andre catches her and forces her to help Michael get Perseus from Jack’s veins. She refuses, but Andre pulls a gun and she agrees to help.

Julia and a very weak Jack are tied up in the lab. Baden finally refuses to help Michael because it will kill Jack. So Michael begins to strangle Baden, but she never relents and he finally kills her.

Meanwhile, Caroline is brought out of her state of hypnosis and her memory of everything her father has done comes back to her. Suddenly, Leandra shows up at Peabody’s with a gun and tells Caroline she’s always hated everyone who has come between her and Michael, including Caroline herself! So she says she’s not going to bring Caroline back to Michael, but kill her instead. Eric steps in to protect Caroline, but Caroline puts the “Jack moves” on Leandra and she is taken down. Caroline takes Leandra’s access card (for the lab) and runs out, determined to confront her dad. Eric and Natalie tie up Leandra, then go after Caroline.

Ryan and Melanie show up at the FBI offices with the evidence and urn containing Alfred's ashes.

Back at the lab, Michael, now left without a cure, sets a timer that will trigger an explosion that will destroy the lab (it was his contingency plan). Michael thanks Andre for his loyalty and tells him he can leave, which he does. However, as soon as Andre leaves the lab, he is captured by the FBI who has now arrived at Michael’s compound. As he passes Ryan and Melanie in Michael’s driveway, he tells them they’d better back up (in reference to the impending lab explosion).

At this point, the FBI doesn’t know what’s going on in the lab. Michael is seconds away from dying of the medusa virus. Julia is tied up. Jack is tied up on a patient table thing. The lab is moments from exploding and Caroline rushes in (she got past the FBI somehow). Michael is horrified that she is about to be killed with them and he begs her to leave.

Caroline tells him she knows everything about what happened with the accident, and that she knows he loved her the best he could. Michael basically dies at this point on the floor in front of Caroline. Caroline quickly releases Julia, and they start to untie Jack. He and Julia exchange a few words. He tells her the FBI would've arrested him anyway for helping Michael. He then dies on the table in front of Julia and Caroline. There's no time to morn, though. With seconds to spare, Caroline and Julia run from the lab.

Inside the lab, Jack opens his eyes and is suddenly energized…pulling at his ties to get released. Only seconds remain on the clock counting down to the explosion.

The lab explodes with Ryan, Melanie, Eric, Natalie, Caroline and the FBI looking on.

The scene changes to the exterior of the Porter home. Caitlin rushes out to greet her parents, returning from wherever they went to in order to stay safe. Caitlin hugs them and says that Jack died to save all of them. They’re all crying.

SEVERAL MONTHS LATER: The scene opens to an exterior shot of Julia’s family counseling practice (she’s finally finished grad school and has her PhD, and has opened a business). The FBI agent originally hunting down Michael is sitting outside of Julia’s practice with Julia. The agent says Jack’s DNA was destroyed in the fire at the lab, but if he did contact Julia, she’d tell the FBI, right? Julia says she would tell the FBI if Jack ever gets in touch with her, if he were still alive.

We also see a scene of Natalie and Eric with Caroline at Eric’s place playing chess. It’s clear they’re becoming a family.

Next scene, a man approaches Julia’s house and knocks on the door. Julia answers with a big smile. It’s clear from the back of his head that it’s Jack. He’s clearly alive. Somehow he made it out of the lab. They're obviously going to live happily ever after in fugitive hell. (Sorry editorial comment).

We then see Leandra in an orange prison jumpsuit behind bars and frustrated. We see Andre in the same orange jumpsuit, only he sees a fellow inmate (good looking and doing push ups) and Andre just smiles at the camera.
