okay, it's not a 100% original plot but.. it was pretty close to 'Ducky Horror Picture Show' episode of Series 1 of Duck Tales. a few differences of course but pretty simpler.. not enough for a ripp-off but big enough for an inspired by ^_^

that episode, by the way, was the Monsters hold a convention and this year picked Duckberg and Scrooge's new convention centre. The Monsters want equal rights cause they hate how humans are so afraid of them because of Monster movies and near the end, they find out that Humans love them and aren't afraid, so they start putting on shows and are more open to humans.

And both of them are similar to Rankin Bass's Mad Monster Party (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm456367360/tt0061931?ref_=tt_ov_i) which was based on multiple stories from Mad Magazine in the 60's Blah, Blah, Blah. The concept of all the classic monsters getting together to party isn't exactly original.
