Both Ford and Ice Cube Jr thats in King of the Monsters those two guys are annoying where they end up as untouchable unkillable Superman super soldiers.
What's worse is that in Godzilla 2014, its like Ford has some weird bond with Godzilla where both of them collapse at the same time in the last 10 minutes due to fighting the two Mutos
Watch the movie again and try, this time, to care for his character, what he has been through and is now going through. Do research on veterans that have "shell shock" and you will find that the actor accurately portrayed his character. Next, consider the phrase, "whatever it takes" and how that powerful phrase goes through the movie.
Godzilla and Ford did not share a bond with each other, but as both were weary soldiers, they were tired at the end of the battle with the Mutos. This and the scene of him and Godzilla looking at each other was not to show a bond between them, but to have the viewers bond with them. For me, it worked perfectly.
well its like they were copying the same bonding moment from 1998 Godzilla when Nick and iguana Godzilla looked into each others eyes before 1998 Godzilla died.
Ford and Ice Cube Jr i find them to be annoying and I dont care if Ford was vital to what went on in Godzilla 2014. Noone should have super durability like that even in a sci fi movie when a giant monster is big enough to step on you or eat you alive
