people in the Godzilla 2014 movie universe would've been safer if Monarch minded their own business

Seriously, regular folk around the world in the Godzilla (2014) "Muto" universe would have been safer if Monarch would have just minded their own business and not interfere where its Monarch's fault for waking up the Mutos in the first place

Well if they minded their own business, then we wouldn't have had a Godzilla movie then

well Godzilla and the Mutos started attacking when Monarch had to stick their nose in the quakes etc in the Phillipines and Japan.

the husband and wife made things worse by working in that nuke power plant that was right above the underground hiding lair for the Mutos and Godzilla was wherever minding his own business
