Whats Wrong with Iranian Doctors?!

I've seen the first 30 minutes and I felt I need to stop and search here to know more about some mischievous statements in the movie. Well I just can't get why they tried to thrust some odd info about Iranian physicians. I mean come on! For imposing such a wrong character you need at least a correct Iranian name. They call him Dr.Sharazi which is an incorrect family name. The correct one is Dr.Shirazi(Shiraz is a Persian historical city). The Doctor(Cas Anvar) who looks more like Indian doctors, has some clumsy dialogues in the movie such as: "But don't worry my degree is from Chicago not Tehran" or "It was either this or drive a cab, right?" while no one has asked him for his nationality or university degree. I still can't get why some American movies expose wrong info about Iran. They could at least contain some miserable facts if the writers did some research. Believe it or not, if you don't find the modern democracy or liberty in the country, you would easily find a talented physician even in the middle of Lout desert! I won't believe such info but I do believe that many people still mess up with alphabets... Iran, Iraq, India or even Iranighistan!

You are right saying that American movies often deliver stupid information about certain countries. In this case, the only thing that counts is the fear of George Grieves who happens to be afraid of Iranian doctor, because many people do. It is logical that his knowledge of countries is limited. Thus; his phobias take the wheel and the accident in the hospital adds to it. The mistake of messing up floors numbers (or whatever it was) was a mistake of the management not the doctors'.

What's wrong with Iranian doctors? Did you see the horrible mistake he did to George Grieves?

There definitely was something wrong with this Iranian doctor...
