Well made but so depressing.

I realise that this is a 'horror' and I got it. It's rich, and well made, and I respect the first time Director. But why would anyone make this movie? I didn't enjoy it. I know not all movies are pleasant but even unpleasant can be enjoyable. There is no pay off in this. Nothing to reward me for watching. I think that's cruel.

What's even more depressing is that the boards for such a spectacular film are all but silent.

I have to admit, I got a bit "saddened" too...I guess I saw just a smidgen of ME in George...I'm a 37 year old I.T. guy with a beautiful wife, a son & a daughter (although they're only 10 & 7)...and its kinda scary a hospital can "eff" something up & screw up your life...a local hospital did something similar & it was all over the news.

I know the movie has a million other meanings (the U.S. vs. the world politics, white man's fear of the black man), but I also took it as sometimes life looks like its SO looking up & suddenly, BAM!!!

I liked it too, but can't see myself ever seeing this again. Very odd considering Raw Feeds other horror films.

Yes, it was very depressing.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)

Jacob's Ladder and Session 9 (2 incredible movies) weren't any less depressing.
