I for one would love to see the climactic battle that was originally the ending to the film. Sounds like it cost the studio a small fortune so could be very interesting. It's rare a film has such wholesale changes made to it and the result isn't a total mess.

I'm very surprised the excised footage hasn't turned up as a special feature or some workprint somewhere.

Plan B / Brad P owns the footage. He will never release it after the issues he had with the director. I’m pretty sure the original version is better, darker, grittier.
