Where did the explosions come from?
At the beginning of the movie in New Jersey and when they're in the plane... where are the explosions coming from? Is it a military tactic to try to contain the zombie virus? Or is it just lazy writing?

shareI don't think it was ever explained. One minute they're in the car laughing and then all hell breaks loose.
My question is, in today's media age, how could these people not know about a zombie apocalypse well before this day's events.
yeah, the beginning made no sense at all. everything starting happening right away with no explanation
I am a God
exactly, i had to check quite a few times that the movie hadn't started playing from the middle, cus it was all of a sudden full-blown zombie in-your-face action scenes out of nowhere..

Definitely a military tactic.
shareYou really have to have everything explained to you? A city of 2 - 3 million people going about their ordinary lives. All of a sudden people screaming, being infected, people running, falling, crashing. Any chance of fires? Any chance of gas explosions?
It wouldn't be a proper apocalypse without explosions or columns of smoke on the horizon.
shareWhy do you need everything explained. Can you grasp the mass chaos that could happen when the worlds fastest zombies start eating people? Maybe a car crashed into a street vendor's propane tank, maybe someone lit a cow fart...
You hate Congress but every election you re-elect YOUR "guy" and wonder why things never change!
