Couldnt watch beyond the first 20 minutes

Agreed, I almost threw up after seeing that steaming pile of crap.

It was an ok movie. My reaction to it was "meh". I was more impressed with the 1982 movie. The story and cinematography was far better. The dialogue in both movies is a little silly but what can you expect.

I lasted longer than you but stopped once Conan said 'I'll follow you to hell'.
That's when I clicked the tiny red arrow of the tab bar from the bootleg window.

Maybe they should have actually used 35mm film or something?

Remakes never ever beat their predecessors... it's like the golden rule with the exception of a very few from the era of the (20's & 30's) and most of those original film blow their remakes away.

Everytime Hollywood goes and does stuff like this, resales of the originals increase to and rise above the amount of DVD's or BluRay Disc produced for the remake, it's true and one would have to look into it to discover this fact.

It's a pretty good strategy if you ask me when it comes to bankrolling cashola... if Conan 1982 ran side by side with this stench in the theater then 2011 side would be nearly empty except for the fan kids.
