Can i watch with children?
Does this movie have anything that is not suitable for children? swearing, nudity, etc? It just became available on our Starz channel and i am curious if it is ok to watch.

shareIt's hilarious, but I think it's rated R for good reason: For pervasive strong crude sexual content including dialogue and nudity, and for language and some drug material. (From the MPAA on the main website for "The Ten")
Unless your children are over 13, it may be a bit disturbing for them - or awkward for you to explain it to them when they ask about the prison raping.
If it seems like I'm ignoring you, it's because you're on my ignore list.
it's ok to watch, there's only bad words and sexuality. no violence. or do i have that backwards??
It was everything I always wanted. But when I had got it, it felt like nothing, less than nothing.
Well, prison rape seems rather violent to me... even though it's done for comedy.

watch it with ur mom-in-law once and ask her if yu can watch it with ur kids..she ll be able to give an answer...
Don’t judge me based on your ignorance
Do you understand the MPAA's rating system? R means that a large group of people have decided this is not suitable for someone under 17. R. Rated R. This movie is rated R. There is also a link on this very page telling specifically what language, sex, violence, drug use, etc. to expect. In fact there's a page like that for every movie on IMDB. Not that hard to figure out.
shareThere not always reliable. Some people would like a personal opinion.
shareI beg to differ - it's quite a small group of people, not a large one, that determines the rating of a movie. And this group (MPAA) represents big Hollywood studios (e.g., Sony, Warner Bros., Disney), not the public. A very interesting topic in itself...
I actually think it's great that some people seek an opinion regarding a movie that doesn't originate from the MPAA.
BTW, yes, I know this thread is extremely old. I'm a loser and have no life apparently.
I haven't decided if the OP is an idiot, a horrible parent, or an idiotically horrible parent.
No, you monkey, you shouldn't watch this with your kid. It's rated R and frankly will make most adults groan and cringe with inappropriate laughter, because it's really funny - for adults.
And if you think asking the IMDB boards about if something is appropriate for your child, I kindly ask that you make sure you don't have any more of them.
