Does that mean that it's a bit of a musical piece?

The film isn't a musical but one of the characters does sing from time to time- usually along with a song that's playing in the background. Hope that clears it up!

To my knowledge both Jessica Biel and Ben Barnes sing in the movie (as seen in the trailer), don't know about the other characters.

Ben Barnes often replies to Jessica Biel's character in the form of lines from Cole Porter songs. The director has taken a chance that this will work. (I don't think it does.)
shareI agree -- the singing (though there's only a little of it) is distracting. I LOATHE musicals and was very put off when Ben broke into song for the first time. I was so relieved that he only sang a line or two each time.

Totally agree, and even though musicals are great, it was good that the singing parts in this movie were v. limited.
Loved Ben Barnes' opening scene where he's in the car with Jessican Biel and he's singing haha that was hot.
