How much Noel is left.....

I'd say 50/50. It's not as cruel as the play and I was happy with what Stephan did with the movie: especially since Mr. Whittaker is hardly in the play and totally out of act III.
I loved the changed ending and appreciated them giving Mr. W his backstory too.

What was the original ending? I don't know the play ^^
JESSIE There, now I cn change my ID as often as I damn well please.
Hmmm ... that worries me. Some of the reviews said there are very few of Noel's lines left, which would be the one thing you think they'd have kept, even if they changed up the plot a bit!
"You may very well think that; I couldn't possibly comment."
I don't mean to seem pedantic, but not that long ago actors would go off to the national sound archive and do a bit of research on what accents were common during a certain period. These actors sound like they just turned up, tried to sound slightly 'posher' than usual, and then got on with it. Katherine Parkinson is in a world of her own in this sense - goodness only knows who she thinks she's supposed to be like - it's certainly not in the right period.
