The description of this movie sounds a bit like another Noel Coward play-to-film: FAMILY VALUES, a 2000 release with Julie Andrews and Colin Firth. I don't think they're the same, but for a moment I thought they might be.

Not "family". "RELATIVE VALUE" is correct.

But similiarity is obvious, even so the plays are. In motivations of people and social problems depicted.
