Easy vertue only came out in the uk cinema and now its showing on bbc2 new year's eve. Iam writing this as I watch the film and find it very good. I didn;t think it would be on tv quite so soon though only after one year but probably they decided to just put it on and not on to dvd unless it has been on dvd and I hadn't noticed..
shareNormally a cinema film takes about three years to get onto BBC, ITV or Channel 4. The exception is when the television company is involved in the production. Film 4 films are broadcast on Channel 4 after about a year. The same is true of BBC Films which are shown on the BBC earlier than usual. This is a BBC Film so I assume that is why it is having an early broadcast.

probably they decided to just put it on and not on to dvd unless it has been on dvd and I hadn't noticed..I watched it on DVD last June, it's definitely been out for some time now. share
