Distractingly plump. And not in a flattering way. In one of the last shots, where she isn't wearing lipstick it looked like she had injections. She's always had big lips though.

I don't think Jessica's lips would have been in style in the 1920's, certainly not the segment of society she married into. In the late 1920's it was the Clara Bow look.

It's not her lips that are the problem. It's her teeth. The way they are shaped makes it look like she has too many teeth. It's the whole shape of her mouth..
I totally agree with you about the horrible lips that are the result of actresses plumping up their lips to replicate Angelina Jolie's. Frankly, hers didn't look real in the last movie I saw her in. I'm wondering if men like these balloon lips?
shareBiel's lips are hardly overplumped, and I'm not convinced they're not natural. If they are cosmetically enhanced, she's doing a good job of having them refreshed periodically, as lip enhancement is typically temporary excepting for a few products which usually produce obvious and unattractive results.
And, yes, men like plump lips. Not overly plumped the way many actresses do them (such as Lara Flynn Boyle's hideously overdone lips), but Biel's? Most men are VERY into very full lumps. "Bee-stung" and many other terms have long been used to (flatteringly) describe full lips on women, and they're extremely sexual.
