My goodness! Colin Firth praise....

ben barnes you are exquisite! dorian gray, barnes & firth, well played! with that said, as the title of the post states: i just can't get over colin firth! i swear, what is it about colin firth that can make the most wooden actors & actresses truly come out of their shells. perhaps biel is growing on me, or just getting better as an actress, or she was just smart in picking a role with firth. i've seen him do this in other films, he really just has this ability to bring out the best in an actor, or this case, actress. if i were in the business, i would do whatever i could to get a role in a film with him in it, an education in and of itself. he could ignite chemistry with anyone or anything. unbelievable. i had to comment on this extraordinarily gifted man. i know i am not the first & will surely not be the last. does praise ever get old? ;) <3 for you, mr. firth.

You said a mouthful Nearvana on CF. I loved the Tango scene. While CF didn't impress us with his dance steps the combination of smoldering intensity of his face and sweet gentleness made this a favorite scene for me. Can take or leave Biel.

Colin Firth, if there is any better actor in films today?

Jessica Biel is not a wooden actress at all. She was lovely in this movie, but did well in other roles too.
I do agree with your Colin Firth praise - he's such a wonderful actor, always.
The movie is absolutely delicious, too.
I honestly don't see anything so special about Ben Barnes.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)
