Dwight: The Ultimate Stifler?

Think about it. Steve was the "popular" guy who nobody actually liked. They just used him for parties. By the end of 2, he had learned something, but in 3 all that personal growth just went out the window and he became a cartoon of his former self. On top of that, he wasn't very smart.
I don't really have a great deal to say on Matt, because he was pretty much Steve Lite. Erik was a nice guy but that's about it. Dwight is diferent, though. People genuinely liked him, they also respected him as a leader, he actually seemed to give a damn about other people, yet he was still quick with put-downs and a loud *beep* Oh and he actually seemed to have a brain.

If i had to pickup the best Stiffler archetype the funny thing is that it wouldn't be any of the Stifflers. I think Ryan Reynold's Van Wilder character is the ultimate Stiffler archetype.

i feel dwight was more of a likable character than steve. simply because dwight was a party animal the same, but he never went too far with insults, knows the boundaries and is a more friendly guy.

I just watched American Pie: The Book of Love, and Scott, the latest member of the Stifler dynasty, is terrible. An embarassment to the name Stifler.

Inna way, Dwight was deffo an awesome Stifler because he's the party guy and he knows how to make everything a good time, but Steve Stifler is the original Stifler though and even if people were only using him or not, he even did manage to get himself some girls, especially at the end of American Pie 2 where he had got with those 2 local girls who he actually thought were lesibans

My problem with Erik is that he didn't 'look' like a Stifler. The others (including the one in the book of love, too), you could actually believe that the actors playing them are somehow related. At least, they've all got a certain look about them.
Given that he acted differently too, maybe they should be questioning Erik's heritage.
As far as the OP goes, as another poster's already said, Steve was the ultimate as he's the original and the one against whom the others are measured.
I'd agree though that Dwight is the most likeable of them - seems more sensible and friendlier, while still being enough of a party animal to lord it over his frat brothers and the other students
