Same idea done better in 'Panic in the Year Zero!'
A better version of this story was in Panic in Year Zero! (1962), except that the actors weren't as pretty to look at.
But even that one was fairly boring.
"Panic in the Year Zero" is an excellent flick! I've watched this film a hundred times, and I can watch it again on a moment's notice. I've awoken my teen-agers pre-6AM for a trip on many an occasion, so I can relate w/ this wonderful film.
