Vanessa Williams is truly underrated as an actress & performer. She can sing/dance/act w/the best of them.
Plus she's ridiculously beautiful @50 years old.
I wouldn't call her underrated. Everyone knows she's talented and extremely beautiful. She's the Miss America with real talent and she's gotten this far because everyone loves her. I absolutely loved when she sang on Ugly Betty and then on Desperate Housewives. I love her singing "Colors of the Wind"; it was one of my favorites as a child.

I wouldn't call her underrated either. I have always thought of her as an excellent actress. She must have had a blast playing such a diabolical character. I also loved that they had her real brother play
Wilhediva Hater. I didn't even realize it was him until he came back dressed as a man. I mean I knew it was a man, but didn't realize it was him. That was pretty cool.
