Was Betty the main reason Daniel left Mode?

When she left he looked broken and resigned straight after her goodbye party. Was his decision purely on her leaving, or was it also because he felt no longer at home with Mode, especially with no more Bradford or Alexis there, and then his closest friend Betty leaves, so he has only really got Claire left.

Your Thoughts, would he still have stayed if Betty never left?

I think you nailed it. Daniel had outgrown mode and wanted to try and make it on his own. With most of his closest people gone or leaving it was just time to move on. I think Betty leaving was the catalyst that made him realize all this, though.
