I began watching Ugly Betty when it was picked up by NetFlix and I was over joyed with it's whimsical entertainment and fabulous actors. However, by the time the 3rd season roled around, I was overwhelmed with horrid character of Willamina. The character became ridiculously over played with cold hearted evilness. I began to have anxiety just watching it. I wish the scripts would have stayed with the upbeat tempo of the first season and then maybe it wouldn't have been cancelled so soon.

I agree that the first half of season 3 had a weird feel once they started shooting it in NY. However, it became it whimsical-self again the second half of the third season all through the fourth. The only thing that did start to bug me was how obviously over-lite Vanessa Williams, Judith Light and Ana Ortis were. Their faces in their scenes almost felt photoshopped.
