Anne Hathaway's Accent....

I was actually enjoying this, until Anne Hathaway's character entered the hotel. What is up with that horrible accent? It went from horrible Russian, to horrible Swedish, to horrible Austrian, to unrecognizable. If she doesn't have the talent to pull off an accent, why not just use her normal voice? Don't even get me started on the cheesy over the top acting.

It’s possible that it was a deliberately hybrid accent because the witch had been around for centuries, but yeah, Hathaway overcooked it, and - not her fault - the script had her calling everything ‘stupid’. Very lazy and dumbed down, what happened to ‘hippopotanical land-mass!’ and other inspired insults from proper children's films like The Princess Bride?
