Closing songs

I love the way music is used in Mad Men. My three favourites are You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me from A Little Kiss, Part 2; Tomorrow Never Knows from Lady Lazarus; and Both Sides Now from In Care Of.

I do find it odd, though, that Megan told Don to listen to the last song on The Beatles’ Revolver album first. Tomorrow Never Knows is the perfect ending to it.

The scene with Both Sides Now always makes me cry.

I agree with what you wrote also. I really liked "Both Sides Now" and how it was used...one of the highlights of the later seasons, IMO.

There are two that I really love. One was "Early In The Morning" (Peter, Paul, and Mary), with Colin Hanks' character singing and playing it (and then it segues into the PPM version). The other one was "Love Is Blue " by Paul Mauriat. I wasn't all that familiar with it when it was used on "Mad Men," but it made me a big fan of the song. What a beautiful piece of music it is!
