Am I the only one who thought that the female cop was acting like a total biatch??? Like she blamed him all the time and treated like some skumbag all the time! Shouldn't the police guarantee a normal guards for his house and his family! It was the situation when they really knew that the gang will be after his family but police just ditched him and left his family for sure death! I hated this part because nothing like this would have happend in real life!

The most amazing thing is, the cops lose two of their own, and no man hunt for these guys. They are still mad at Bacon, and tell him "no one wins in war, everyone dies" is what she says. Uh, no lady, the losers die, that's how someone ends up on top. Just garbage writing for a lot of this film.

Seeing on how Death Sentence is borderline exploitation cinema, I am pretty sure it was an homage to the over the top dumb cops from the original Last House on the Left.
