so a guy comes at you with a machete, swings it at your throat and you what? just stand there? take it right in the neck? i'm sorry but any idiot who has seen at least one episode of CSI will tell you that ALL stabbing/slashing victims put their hands up thus sustaining "defensive wounds." if they wanted to make the sons death dramatic and sad they should have just shot him in the face.
