Are we supposed to assume that Ally was having sex with Bragg? When she went upstairs, then Hitch was waiting upstairs with his gun as she went back down...
I assume that's what happened, I just find it bizarre that her character does that.
well, she's not exactly the most virtuous woman.
Hitch was just letting her know that he understood what was happening and she again had that look of guilt and shame like when she was rescued from the Indians earlier in the movie.
Basically she's attracted to whoever is in charge.
That is exactly what her character *would do.* She wants to be with the big dog. I think the movie didn't make this quite as clear as the book did, personally.
