cliche , bad screenplay , not satisfying , promising at first then disappointing like hell , bad lead actress ..the list goes on ..
and robert parker signature was all over it..the morals and these *beep*
why wouldn't they make movies based on the original master that parker badly imitated ..raymond chandler.. would be a much better world
i know it's a western but wut the hell ..

Have to disagree. I really like this movie.

I do, however, scan past most of the scenes with Renee.

But Everett Hitch is a great character.

Also, I'm a big fan of Mr. Ed Harris.

I agree. I don't know why people are comparing it with Yuma as they have nothing in common ! Yuma was a gr8 action movie while this was pure boring crap

It's true that the Yuma remake is tagged as "Adventure" while this movie is not.

What the hell is wrong with Rene Zellwegger's face in this film? Looks like someone's had at her with a hot Corby trouser press!

I didn't think it was bad, but I did think it was too loooooooong. Needed some skillful editing.

Totally agree with OP, I'll also add that it was boooooooooring! *beep* I lost 2 hours of my life watching that... thing. I don't understand the good rating it has. I've given it a 4, only because of the bunch of nice actors there (No, not Renee Troll, she was creepy as hell)

The OP is right about one aspect of the film, Zellwegger. The rest merely shows immaturity.
