One reason I think it failed
I liked the show, mostly, however I think why it failed is because they killed off Zoe way too soon. She was a very interesting character and the main character, however the show really tanked after her demise. And turning her into a robot ? That's just desperation.
The show went overly religious, which was another fault, however the show died with Zoe.
