Any original crew?

Do "Caprica" have any of the original crew (actors, writers, directors and such) from the original BSG, and/or do it keep the original atmosphere, or are "Caprica" another bad BSG-spinoff like Blood & Chrome (IMO)?

UPDATE:
I see, that Ronald D. Moore are among the creators in "Caprica". But are there other than him? And are "Caprica" still worth to see as a prologue to BSG?

David Eick, Jane Espenson and Jonas Pate were all involved with Caprica. Only a couple of actors who had small or supporting roles on BSG appeared in Caprica. The two that come to my mind are Luciana Carro who played Kat on BSG and John Piper-Ferguson who played Stinger on BSG both make appearances on Caprica.

I think you should definitely give Caprica a try but I will say that it has a very different pace and feel to it compared to BSG.

Thanks for the answer.
Yes, I will try to give it a shot. And since there are several people from BSG, who also are involved in Caprica, it can only be better than B&C.

Blood & Chrome had some issues for sure but I was still disappointed that SyFy passed on picking it up for a series. The biggest problem was the guy they cast to play the young William Adama. He was pretty bland.

BSG was more claustrophobic, focusing on small environments and always on the run, Caprica is about the world at large, always intercutting between several ongoing plot lines.

It's got some of BSG's sense of humor and styling, but it's a different beast. The atmosphere is lighter, in some ways, everything more chaotic in that it's about the society the people live in. It's slow moving but detail oriented.

I hated when it got canned.
