cliffhanger?

Is it just me or did they leave the series wide open for a rewrite? I mean, despite the "life goes on" principle, the redo of the administration and employees of GD could indicate a re-imagining of the show. It wouldn't be Eureka anymore, but would have Jack, Zoe, Henry, so there could still be possibilities, right?

I think the jargon is "reboot," but yes, I agree with you. And it makes sense, right. Just because Syfy dumps it because the ROI was below 20% doesn't mean another network won't someday have an appetite for it.

I don't recall them showing Eureka on NBC like they did with Psych around the time of the writer's strike (both are/were NBC Universal). I'm wondering if they aired Eureka on NBC occasionally, maybe it could've helped bring in more viewers. Some people avoid SyFy Network because they don't think anything on there would interest them. That's pretty much how I was before Eureka came along.

It seems like more and more people prefer reality 'stuff' and don't want to invest in fiction as much. Perhaps there will be a miracle and the pendulum will swing back the other way someday. People will get tired of seeing the same drama on reality shows and they'll be ready for fiction again. lol

It certainly is, my friend, however 'reboot' tends to mean restart leaving most everything the same, not sure the title of Eureka would be there if they do rewrite it, so I guess it'd be reimagining. Anyway, terminology tends to suck. I'm just hoping they save Eureka!

My guess would be they're leaving things open for the possibilty of a series of TV movies down the road.
