Loved the show, but.....
Hubby and I just started watching Eureka and we love it. We watched Seasons 1-4 on Netflix and couldn't stop watching. Only took us 6 days. I bought season 5 on dvd today to finish up. We are half way through it right now. Kind of worried how it will end.
Well I will start off saying....
What the frak is with all the Stargate actors? Ever notice a seemingly high concentration? I get it, they're actors, need roles, not complaining though, just kind of weird now. Especially watching it years after Stargate has ended, and not that Stargate universe abomination. I won't ever give that a try. Atlantis was difficult enough.
This show is weird with continuity. People disappearing, the director of GD before Stark, dry cleaning lady, lowjack, etc. A LOT of things happened they never explained. Like, all the time travel lines etc. It gave me a headache. As much as I love sci-fi, I swear they always mess it up with time travel. Leave the space time contiuum alone. Jack Carter, so very 111, and yet almost everytime comes up with a "dumb" idea and it saves the town. It got very predictable. I swear this show is so confusing with it's storylines it makes quantum mechanics look like a Rorschach test. Even with that being said, it was very light and funny. Oh and what was with ALL those "ass" jokes. Really? There are A freaking lot of them!!!!!
