shareNot that I'm aware of. The only thing that keeps a show going on a commercial channel is ratings. When they get too low, it cost more to make the show than advertisers are willing to spend on it.
shareThe producers had the choice to keep it going. It just would have had lower production costs (which would have been worse in my opinion). They chose to end the show with the higher quality.

My secret hope is the creators will write a Eureka screenplay before moving on to the next project.
Eventually, "made for Internet" will fill some space that "made for TV" doesn't.
Although getting "everyone" back is usually tough.
