It STILL Really Sucks That It's Over...

It's been almost a month it seems since the finale aired and it's still hard to cope with it being gone. The new season of Warehouse 13 is pretty good but still it sucks that Eureka will never be back.

The best and only true Powerful Mondays were last summer when both Eureka and Warehouse 13 were on the same night back to back. Now it seems it's only a matter of time before Comcast gets rid of Warehouse 13, then Alphas, and so on...

I love love love Eureka. It has been one of my most favorite shows ever. I too was sad when it ended but have since bought all the seasons on DVD and am re-living it all over again. Every episode makes me ridiculously happy! and I'm hearing things that I don't remember hearing the first time around like when Jack walks into Starks office and Stark says "Sheriff" and Jack looks at him like he's a lunatic and says "Scientist" all sarcastic! So great! That gem is in the first season. Re watch all the seasons and you can enjoy it over and over again...even though I too am still bummed it's off the air! :(

I agree!

I've also been catching things I didn't notice the first time around. And the bonus features are great, too. There are PSA's in Season 2. I'm not sure if they ever aired but they are really funny. And I was watching a deleted scene and Allison said she had Kevin in Eurekarate. There are so many great things about this show! I'm so glad they released the last season and the complete series right away, rather than making fans wait.

Haha, totally off-topic, but Chasingdaylight, you reminded me of somehting. I only stared watching Eureka recently on Netflix, and didn't recognize the actor playing Stark at all. But for some reason, the way he said "sheriff" stuck in my head for some reason. Every time he said it, it sounded familiar.

Then I rewatched some old episodes of True Bloodand realized he was the vampire Stan in season 2. Looked the same yet different in a cowboy get up compared to fancy suits, so I completely missed it. But remembered the voice. Funny how the mind works.

I might lose, but I'd be willing to bet that re-runs from season 1 played in order would get better ratings than some of Syfy's "original" "movies."

There will never be another Eureka! I tried getting into Warehouse 13 but I couldn't - the show just wasn't as fun or entertaining as Eureka.

Warehouse 13 takes time to develop -- I felt the same way at first, but kept watching it out of desperation, and by the second season, it's developed it's own personality. Once they get past the "Bones wannabe" stage, it takes off. Give it another try, if you can.
