Recommendations for a new show to watch

While nothing can ever fill the void left by Eureka...does anyone have any recommendations for someone who loves Eureka? I mean lighthearted and quirky shows. I started watching Warehouse 13 and I am really enjoying that. I've tried watching a lot of other shows, but Warehouse 13 is the only one that sticks. Many other shows are booooring.

If you're not already a fan I'd definitely recommend Doctor Who. You can start in 2005 and watch it from there.

Also, although it is fantasy instead of sci-fi, Merlin is fairly light hearted fun. They get into some deep stuff at times, but then so did Eureka.

Anyway, this cake is great. It's so delicious and moist.

Merlin sucked.

every show was the same, and there is zero payoff at the end

your insane.. Merlin is one of the greatest series on television right now. And there is TON of payoff.

Haven really is good also but there will always be a pit in my stomach that they stopped eureka

I watched the pilot of Alphas, but couldn't get into it.

Agreed about the pit for Eureka. I'm still rewatching the series. It's officially one of my favorite shows. Eureka's "weakest season" is still better than 97% of all the shows that are currently showing.

My favorite shows are:
Eureka which is as you know no longer :(

Warehouse 13

Doctor who

and a show on USA network called "Psych". It is hilarious, quirky and is develop its characters nicely. i seriously recommend this one as it is my favorite.

White Collar, Castle, Royal Pains are all shows that might be good. I havent watched them much as of late however.

Some shows I liked though they are canceled you could try rewatching are:

Stargate SG1 and Atlantis(didnt care too much for universe)

Once I started my netflix account, (Okay, I'm cheap and outdated like a 2 dollar...) The first thing I watched was Sons of Anarchy. It was great. Then I watched Jericho and Heroes. Those two were so great I was disappointed by many other series. Earth 2 was a joke but I liked Survivors, though it was short.

Not into vampires or ghosts so the offerings were limited. I like sci-fi and post apoc. stuff. Then I started to watch Eurika - Was not impressed at first but after a few episodes now am hooked. While Hiro was comic relief for Heroes, Eurika is non-stop smiles. It's like Heroes with comedy. What a great show and I am only in season one.
