Which company is more harmful do you think? Would have been interesting to see a crossover between these groups of mad scientists. Especially with the carter/ted connection

Well GD is probably in actuality more dangerous, as they were dealing in some apocalyptic class tech. GD's motives on the whole was more altruistic with their intent. Of course we all know about the adage of what compound paves the road to hell. Veridian made no bones about the fact that they were weapons developers. Even their more innocent products the corporation wanted to evilize it. Phil and Lem would have been hilarious at GD.
