Okay, so we're late to the "Eureka" table, but thanks to Netflix, we're getting there, and we're LOVING this show. But now we're early into season four, and Trevor from the first episode this season has suddenly become Charles? How did that happen? And why? Anyone have any insight?
shareWell.... I don't recall that happening since it's been a while since I watched season 4, but I believe it was because he changed his name. Trevor was from the past, since he came back to the present(however altered it is) and he couldn't get back without risking changing things, he couldn't very well stay Dr. Trevor Grant now could he? Grant is supposed to be dead. It would be quite suspicious for those who new history is a Dr. Trevor Grant just appeared out of no where. He would have had to come up with a new name so he could live in the present without problem.
James Callis, who played him, is only listed as Dr. Trevor Grant though.

Fargo created a new identity for Trevor as his own grandson Charles Grant.
