I am re-watching Eureka and I have always been curious about this episode. I think it was Bad to the Drone or What About Bob, where Eva Thorne showed Carter a graph of incidences in Eureka since he has been Sheriff. Why do you think it showed an increase in incidences? And why was it more than Sheriff Cobb?
shareI always saw that as poor writing by the writers (along with the firing later in the season when all one had to do was reassign the Marshall or commercializing a top secret company in order for it to pay for itself). First season there was a comment about the high death rate in Eureka due to the nature of the business. Suddenly by the third season this was a big concern.
If they went with how Sheriff Cobb reacted in the pilot, there were many incidents that happened. The Sheriff's role was to keep the mad house under as much control as possible.
