shareAny number of changes could be directly related to Dr. Grant's absence for the past 63 years. Zane was always a trouble maker, and like flipping a coin, "Alternate-Jo" chose not to pursue a relationship with him.
Similarly with Fargo. Stark was director, then Allison became director until her maternity leave (during this time, Tess was temporarily director). Maybe in Alt-timeline, Alt-Fargo stepped up as Director, and Alt-Allison chose to step down permanently as Director.
Just theories, but plausible ones...
