They ran out of 1994 Jeep Cherokees for Sheriff Carter to destroy.

actually, in suprised that the jeep didn't get a better send off, I was hoping it would long on the moon or something, the last of the carter jeeps to be preserved forever in space :)

reply

Love it! If it ended up on the moon I would imagine Carl there every time I look up there. I'm probably not the only one.

they had enough cherokees, their problem was the supply of props for Cafe Diem!

True . They kept redecorating, renovating or rebuilding it. One of the most recent renovations didn't look much different than the previous one. At the beggining of the series Cafe Diem looked completely different.

Haha, brilliant. That would be an epic send off.

Anyway, this cake is great. It's so delicious and moist.

reply

It makes perfect sense. Poor Carter sure went through a lot of them.

Professor, Lava, HOT!

im curious how personal things like that get -- the new bosses come in -- and the producers/writers just dont hit it off ---- as in the new people say "u plan to do WHAT for the next season? no thx..."

rerun ratings / dvd sales must play in also?

reply

Yeah, it was something like that in the case of Eureka, but more intense since money was an issue, plus, even with the racially diverse cast, the show wasn't progressive enough since there weren't really any homosexual storylines. Even with Vincent's personality, it probably wasn't enough to satisfy the new bosses.

reply

What's funny is in the original pilot the old sheriff drove a newer model Jeep Liberty.

reply

makes sense Carter would get older model :|

I think on The Dukes of Hazzard, they just started using a little model car for the stunts. Wrecking vehicles can get pricey.
